In order to save your company time, our trainers come to you at a time that is convenient to you and your participants. After the initial participant level placement and needs analysis, the trainer, together with the Director of Studies will define the course content with you to ensure that the learning material is as specific and relevant as possible. Courses normally last between 60 and 90 minutes and take place on a weekly basis over a pre-defined period. Group sizes vary from individual lessons to small groups of maximum six participants.
Participants are encouraged to bring their own work-relevant materials to be shared and used in the lessons. These can take the form of e-mails, presentations, company magazines or documents etc. Original teaching materials will also be prepared by the trainer team for use solely with your company.
Training is done primarily in the target language and all participants are encouraged to speak, not only with the trainer but with each other so active participation is extremely important. Participants receive constant feedback in order to learn correct language usage. The main emphasis lies on speaking and understanding, however, without neglecting written usage. The meaning of new words and expressions is explained to the participant based on real objects and situations or within an already known context. In this way, thinking in the target language is encouraged from the very beginning. Grammar is absorbed in structured exercises, not lectured.
