The language school Language Service Dr. Lukes was founded in 1993 by Robert Lukes, an Australian by origin who studied languages both in Australia and Germany. In 1993 he founded Language Service Dr. Lukes and soon gained a pool of major clients. In the beginning the focus was mainly on English for business.
New Owner: Nicole Daniells
In 2017 Dr. Lukes retired and Nicole Daniells took over the language school. Of British and Swiss nationality, Nicole graduated from the University of Exeter with a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) in French and German. She then completed a Master of European Business at the ESCP-EAP business school based in Paris and Berlin. After working for several years at HUGO BOSS in the International Sales Travel Retail department she changed career path, completed a CELTA qualification and become a freelance Business English trainer in the Stuttgart area.
Initially working as a freelance trainer for Dr. Lukes, Nicole gradually took on more responsibility, getting to know the customers and familiarising herself with the running of the business so that in 2017 she was ready to step into the lead.
It is Nicole’s fervent desire to continue running the language school along the same principles as Dr. Lukes and to build on the core values that he established.
